What Does Organic Beauty Mean To You?...

Monday 8th May 2017

In honour of Organic Beauty and Wellness Week starting from 15th May, we are talking all things organic beauty in salon.

As I've mentioned before in my previous posts, for a beauty product to be labelled organic, it only needs to contain a very small amount of organic compounds within in. Often, these products also contain a lot of other non organic ingredients that can sometimes be detrimental to your skin.

When a product is labelled organic by the Soil Association, and shows the Soil Association logo on the packaging it is guaranteed to only contain organic ingredients.

Made For Life by Spiezia Organics is a facial and body skincare brand that is certified organic, vegan and still made in a natural sustainable way in the UK.

They use organic essential oils, sustainably sourced beeswax, and even recyclable packaging to ensure their product is as good on the outside as it is on the inside. In fact, their yummy rose and chamomile face scrub is so natural it can be even used to bake with!

So we have posed the question
"What does Organic Beauty mean to you" and this is what our clients and therapists they have said...

Organic beauty to me, means that I am safe in the knowledge that the products I put on my skin do not contain any harsh chemicals or irritants that may lead to sensitivity. I am proud to stock a natural product that harnesses the power of nature to achieve a beautiful radiant looking skin.
Charlotte, Salon Owner

I love organic beauty, because I know that I am looking after the environment, whilst looking after my skin at the same time.
Szilvia, Therapist

Organic beauty to me, means that I know what I apply to my skin is totally natural, and wont be negatively affecting my body in the future.
Sinead, Therapist

I love using organic products on my skin, because I know they aren't tested on animals, they aren't damaging the environment and they smell amazing!
Candice, Salon Client

Having suffered from eczema my whole life, I am always very cautious when trying a new skincare product, so anything that is truly organic will always get my vote!
Liz, Salon Client
